How to Use Fossil Molds

This set includes 5 detailed fossil molds. Simply fill each mold with any kind of molding medium to create either permanent or temporary fossils.

For temporary exploration try using:

Plastercine

Play doh

Kinetic sand

Play foam

For permanent fossils try using:

Air dry clay

Salt dough

Papier mache

When your fossils are dry, don’t forget to paint them!

For edible fossils (keep a separate set just for food contact activities):

Jello

Chocolate (try drizzling white chocolate in the mold first, then darker chocolate over top!)
