Little Brown Bat Puzzle
Bats are one of the most maligned creatures throughout history. Bats figure heavily in horror stories and movies and are the subject of many myths and misconceptions.
Did you know? The little brown bat is in fact an endangered species and is one of 19 types of bats in Canada and one of over 40 bats in the United States. The bat is also the one and only true flying mammal. Flying squirrels do not actually fly but glide for short distances.

Did you know?
This puzzle was originally developed for a school board in Alaska. In our first draft of the image sent to the customer we included common bat predators like the raccoon and the snake, along with cats, spiders, hawks and owls. We were informed however that there are NO snakes or raccoons in Alaska! Snakes and raccoons are bat predators everywhere else but in Alaska! So, the Alaska version of this puzzle does not include those two predators.
